•{abc.yoga}•

This was another fun activity to continue our focus on exercise this week. We did some ABC yoga poses! (You can find the images HERE and scroll down to the "free poster.") These were just a few of her favorites...
F = Frog
U = Unicorn
J = Jack-in-the-Box
O = Otter
R = Rag Doll

•{alphabet.run}•

This was a super fun activity to get my Little moving and work on her letters at the same time! I laid out each letter of the alphabet at one end and placed a bucket at the other. I would call out a letter and my Little had to run as fast as she could, find the letter, and then run back to the bucket with it. We repeated this until every letter was in the bucket. We even did a round where I called out the different colors and she had to find those. She LOVED this.

•{name.tracing}•

This was an easy activity to continue working with my Little on writing her name. I had her dip her finger in paint and trace the letters.

•{clothespin.name}•

This was a simple activity to work on letter order in my Little's name. It's also great for fine motor coordination!

•{body.puzzle}•

To continue our All About Me theme, we put a body together! I drew out the different pieces on computer paper and cut them out. I glued the torso onto contruction paper as a piece to build off of. I asked my Little what piece she wanted to do first/next and I allowed her to stick the pieces on where she thought they went. After all the pieces were on, we worked on sounding out the first letters of each label to determine what each word was and where it went. She did really well with this! I was very impressed with the final product. Perfectionist like her Momma? Maybe! 😂

•{pizza.letters}•

My Little's favorite food is pepperoni pizza, so we decided to make one! This was a simple activity using construction paper circles and color coding labels (from Dollar Tree!)

•{my.family}•

This activity was to review the members of our family. I wasnt sure how this would turn out as I havent asked her to draw people (or oet cats) before, but she did really well! I found it funny that only the men of the family got eyebrows, and Daddy is the only one with legs. At least the cat has ears (or horns!)

•{my.face}•

This activity was to review the parts of our body that are found on our face! My Little had a lot of fun picking out the coordinating colors for each thing. The pink cheeks crack me up!
