This was a fun activity to not only have my Little pick out healthy foods, but also work on her colors. I drew out the six rectangles for each color, and then together we looked through our grocery ad to find a food to go with each color. After I cut the pictures out, my Little glued them on to their corresponding color boxes.

For this activity I used a roller from our collection of Playdoh toys and a stick from our Cake Pop sticks. I dropped the paint on the paper in rainbow order, and then we stuck the stick inside the roller as a way to keep it under control (and not get our hands all messy!) [side note: I taped our paper to the table when rolling the paint to keep it from moving across the table with us.]

This activity probably stressed me out more than it should have, but my Little had fun, so that is all that matters! I am too much of a perfectionist!

This activity is pretty self-explanatory. It was a simple activity for color identification and review too! I had my Little dip her finger in the color of paint and follow the arch pattern of the plate, switching colors as we progressed.
